Silicone bakeware and utensils sell on one promise: it releases, it does not scratch, and it survives the dishwasher. FORMSTEC produces flexible silicone bakeware and baking utensils for baking brands, pastry suppliers and houseware retailers, with the material grade and temperature range specified up front so the claim on the packaging matches what the product does.
Non-stick release without a coating
Metal bakeware depends on a coating for release, and that coating is the part that eventually fails — flaking, staining or scratching through. Silicone releases because of its own surface properties, so there is no coating to wear off and no exposed base metal underneath.
The same property is why silicone tools are safe on non-stick pans: you can fold, scrape and lift without the risk of cutting the pan’s surface. For pastry work, that means a spatula that can reach the bottom edge of a pan without the compromise of a metal blade.
A temperature range that covers the whole bake
Our food-contact silicone parts are rated from −40 °C to 230 °C, which covers blast freezing, refrigeration, baking and everything in between. A single item can move from freezer to oven without a change of vessel, which is why silicone is replacing both rigid plastic and coated metal in the baking category.
Hardness and wall thickness are adjustable: a thinner, softer wall flexes more for release, a thicker wall holds its shape for a free-standing mould. We will recommend a specification against the intended use rather than leaving you to guess.
Retail ranges for the baking category
Baking ranges usually work as a coordinated set rather than individual items — matching colours across mat, spatula and moulds, presented in a branded box. We mould to a Pantone reference and print the retail box, so the set reads as one product line on the shelf.
Sets can be packed as a single retail unit with one barcode, which simplifies ranging and reduces the number of item codes a buyer has to maintain.
